Day-of Lead:

  • Overseeing the setup of the ceremony site, reception site, and tasting room to ensure they are ready for decoration.

  • Acting as the main point of contact for vendors before and during the wedding day.

  • Directing vendors on the day of the wedding, ensuring they are set up and ready to go on time.

  • Being available to answer any questions or assist in anything that vendors, guests, or bride and groom might have.

  • Keeping track of the schedule and making sure everything runs smoothly throughout the day.

  • Directing traffic and helping guests find their way, if necessary.

  • Resolving any issues that may arise during the day, using my problem-solving skills to keep things on track.

Includes:

  • 2 - 1hr in-person meetings leading up to the wedding.

  • Assist in implementing wedding-property organization.

  • Phone support if needed.

Note: The day-of lead should not be confused with the wedding planner, who is often the bride. While the wedding planner helps the couple with scheduling, directing the wedding party during the ceremony, and ensuring that all planned activities go smoothly, the day-of lead is more of a behind-the-scenes organizer. They work to bring the couple's already planned vision to life. The day-of lead is a facilitator who works closely with the wedding planner or the bride to make sure the wedding day is a success.

You do not have to have a wedding planner. Oftentimes, our bride and groom come with a schedule for their day and pass it off to our day-of lead to make sure they are “in-the-know.” Beyond that, it’s important they communicate the time-line with their vendors (i.e: DJ, Officiant, Etc.) and bridal party, so that they know when to do what they need to do.
