DOES THE WINERY STAY OPEN?

Yes, the tasting room, apricot orchard & deck will remain open until 7pm. However the event space (ceremony site & reception site/lawn area) will be closed to the public at 3pm. Signs will be posted to “not bother” wedding party. Tables will be set up at 1PM and decorating can start at 2PM (if you rent tables & chairs through us). If you have rented the entire property, you will have access all day.

HOURS OF RENTAL?

How many hours does the rental include? 5hours, 5-10PM

Can I rent the event space (ceremony site, reception site/lawn area) on the day-of for additional hours? Yes, hourly rental is $500. (You cannot rent past 10pm but may start earlier.)

Can I rent the entire place and close it down for the day of wedding? Yes, this would include our take-over options which can be seen on the initial quote page.

DOES THE EVENT SPACE INCLUDE THE DECK?

No. You are welcome to use the deck after 7pm when it closes to the public. You can choose to rent the deck space (starting at 4PM, decorating can start at 3pm) for an additional fee of $900. Additional hours can be added for $200.

BATHROOMS?

Bathrooms are located in the tasting room and can be used during your event at all times. There will be signs directing your guests. Please note, the tasting room & deck will remain open until 7pm. Your party will be among the public during this time, after 7pm the place is yours! We will close down and you will have full reign. There will be additional (clean) porta-potties in the back of the winery for larger parties (we encourage men to use these).

ARE SECURITY GUARDS REQUIRED?

Yes, we provide security guards.

INSURANCE?

Do you require insurance? Yes, we require all renters to purchase insurance and you can get a quote/policy HERE.  

ARE OUTSIDE DRINKS ALLOWED?

Unfortunately, no. We have in-house wine, beer, and hard cider available for purchase. You can read more about what we have to offer in our beer and wine post, HERE. Our wedding clients receive discounted prices on alcohol 20% off. Parties are required to purchase one case per 25 guests. You may provide your own water bottles and soda if you are so inclined (this is available for purchase as well).

BAR SET-UP?

Your event will have a separate bar set up near your reception area and dance floor for easy access. The bar includes your beverage selection, disposable glassware and service. The staff are there for you.

SERVICE FEES?

Yes. Our staff will work their booties off to make your event run smoothly. There is a 20% service fee on all food & beverages.

STAY LATER?

Last call for alcohol is at 9:45PM and music will end promptly at 10PM. This is a noise ordinance put in place to respect our neighbors. Clean up should finish up by 11PM.

AIRBNB RENTAL?

Use of Unit A comes with your event rental for day-of and night stay for wedding day.

Can we rent the Airbnb or Airstream? Yes, the Airbnb units or the Airstream are available to rent (if not already reserved) for an additional cost of approx: $145-275 (depending).

REHEASAL?

Plan your wedding rehearsal for any night during the week-of your wedding. This will be a one-hour rehearsal during business hours, 12-7PM. Winery will remain open for this time and the public may be there as spectators.

PHOTOGRAPHY?

Can we do our photography shoot on the property? Yes. You are welcome to do your bride and groom shoot at the winery before or after the ceremony. Please schedule with day-of coordinator.

DECORATION?

Tablecloths, clothe napkins, tables, chairs, & (real glassware for wedding party - head tables only) are provided with setup and tear down for take-over price. Alternatively the cost is: $750

  • Setup & tear down of tables & chairs.

  • Tablecloths and cloth napkins for up to 200 attendees.

  • Chairs and tables for up to 200 attendees.

  • Chairs for ceremony for us to 200 attendees.

DANCE FLOOR, DJ, & Sound System?

Dance floors must be rented if you want one (please reach out to Bear Rentals.) Otherwise, you can use our space next to the fire place. You can hire a DJ or bring in a live band.

  • If you want to rent our speaker system, it’s an additional $250 for set up and tear down.

    • This includes: One speaker at ceremony site. Two speakers at reception site. One wireless mic. One iPhone jack to connect.

WEATHER CONTINGENCY?

Please refer to our contract:

“Although the climate in Yakima Valley is typically suitable for outside events from May 15 to October 15, the weather is unpredictable and may include rain, high winds, and/or very hot temperatures. The winery will not provide a tent, but Renter has the option, at Renter's expense, to arrange to rent and erect a tent with an outside tent rental company. The size of any tent is limited to 100’ by 60’. Winery lawn space will not be available for tent set-up until the day of Renter's event. Renter acknowledges and holds the winery harmless for any disruption, injuries, or all other adverse consequences to Renter's event due to weather conditions, including--without limitation--heatstroke, dehydration, and damage or discomfort due to sun, heat, wind and/or rain. Renter acknowledges that the Winery has limited indoor space, and the Winery may not, and likely will not, have the indoor capacity to accomodate Renters event guests in the winery's indoor space. Renter acknowledges that even if he or she opts for a tent, weather conditions may still adversely affect Renter's event. Renter acknowledges that weather conditions are outside the control of the winery, and no refunds shall be given due to adverse weather conditions, nor shall the winery be held liable for any damages, expenses, or claims due to such conditions. Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Winery, its employees, and contractors from all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, fines, fees, penalties, costs, expenses, suits, and actions, including attorneys’ fees arising out of this Agreement.”

DEPOSIT & PAYMENTS?

$1,000.00 deposit is due upon reservation. $500 is a non-refundable deposit to hold your date. $500 is a refundable deposit for property damage that will be refunded to you 7-10 days after your event. The remaining amount is due 30 days before your event date.
