YAKIMA VALLEY WINES

We often hear the phrase “go to the source,” and wonder what it would be like to experience that freshness in wine tasting. Yakima Valley wines have a competitive edge when it comes to freshness with Yakima Valley being responsible for growing the largest variety of fresh produce in the Pacific Northwest (cite vistyakima.com). Freehand Cellars is just one of the many wineries in Yakima that continue to surprise guests with their crisp, natural wine. This freshness allows each bottle of wine produced by Freehand Cellars to exceed any previous out-of-state wine experience.

Here at Freehand Cellars, a winery in Yakima - we pride ourselves on having a delicious wine option that will fit every individual pallete. Our sweetest wine, 2021 Moscato, may just be the dessert wine you are looking for. It leads with a delicious nose while displaying exotic tropical aromatics with aromatics of fresh mangos, papaya, guava and lime juice. If a sweet white wine isn’t for you then perhaps our new 2021 Sauvignon Blanc might be the perfect choice for a hot summer day. With no residual sugar, the palate is fresh with bright acidity that layers the plate with secondary flavors of candied pineapple and undertones of tangerines with a light floral finish. If you have enjoyed our Sauvignon Blanc then here are some other Yakima Valley wines that you may want to try! Owen Roe’s 2021 Sauvignon Blanc is quite delicious with a fresh, bright nose and a long lingering finish. If you prefer bubbles, then try Treveri Cellars Brut Blanc de Blancs with hints of apple and brioche followed by a smooth, crip finish.
